Sarai was able to turn her love of sewing and design into a serious study option that in turn led to her graduation from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Design (Fashion). Gaining such a qualification gave Sarai the confidence to make the move from her home in New Zealand to Melbourne, a step she has never regretted.
Her previous career success in the competitive retail jewelry market, where her focus was buyer administration, provided Sarai with experience that has proved relevant to her property management responsibilities – a field where she upholds the traditions of service for which Jas Stephens is already so well known.
The fact that her skills are so readily applicable to property management matches Sarai’s natural enjoyment of the role – in particular her appreciation of the fact that each day brings fresh challenges and new opportunities to impress both landlords and tenants alike. In addition, Sarai, who is a go-getter by instinct, welcomes the chance to meet new people and to establish effective working relationships with her clients and her potential clients.
An All Blacks fan – naturally – Sarai follows the fortunes of her favourite team with the dedication that is a world-wide feature of rugby union fans. Time spent with friends, visiting the beach, reading and pursuing her ongoing personal passion for sewing and design are among Sarai’s other preferences when she has time away from work.
